I teach the full spectrum of human anatomy from breaking someone on the mats to putting them back together in the clinic.
Melissa's Story
Over two decades of athletic experience combined with 10 years of formal education in strength training and performance. She built the business because she loves the work and lives it herself.
The Jiu Jitsu Athlete
What started as a workout five years ago became a lifestyle and a competitive pursuit. She's an active competitor, coach, and student. The sport has shaped how she thinks about feedback, discipline, and performing under pressure — and she connects those lessons directly to life off the mat.
The Athletic Trainer
Her first career path and professional love. She describes the role as the "Swiss Army Knife of Sports Medicine" — blending anatomy, physiology, psychology, and nutrition with human connection and on-the-field access. She wanted the depth of medical knowledge without being confined to an office, and the ability to work directly with athletes every day.
The Strength Athlete
She's been on both sides of the gym — the client and the coach, the beginner and the strongest in the room. Currently in the best shape of her life, stronger than her college athlete days. Her training philosophy is straightforward: it doesn't have to look like any particular method, it just has to make you stronger. Being strong makes everything else easier.
Keep people playing their sport, at the highest level possible, for as long as possible.
